Reddit Later - Beta 6

I've been holding back on releasing this update, in order to iron out the known bugs and tweak the U.I... I've also slipped in a new feature or two as well...

Shout out to Gustavo Claramunt for coding up discreteSeekBar, saving me tonnes of time creating the new 'Add a Subreddit' U.I

Additionally, Karol Wrótniak has an excellent project called android-gif-drawable which I'll be using for gif playback from now on.

Bugfixes:

• Localisation issues have been resolved

• Adding a subreddit where content existed didn't load the images until you ran a download - not anymore!

• Deleting read items wasn't reliably removing images from internal storage - now it is

• Deleting or toggling read items made you lose your place in the subreddit list - fixed

• Posts were being downloaded when they already existed in some situations - solved

• Posts no longer show duplicate images when the post is part of multiple subreddits

• Post tabs don't block you from scrolling during a download

• Text was overlapping gifs in some scenarios

• Browsing settings no longer resets your 'last viewed' subreddit

Features:

• Added a Download Scheduler, which can be run every 15 minutes, notifies you when it's running and wont run overlapping processes if a download is still running when another scheduled start time occurs

  • It's set to only run if Wi-Fi is active

  • Has configurable 'minimum free space' and 'minimum battery' (unless charging) entry criteria (see advanced settings)

  • Can automatically 'delete read posts' when a scheduled download begins (which can be disabled in the advanced settings)

• Overhauled the 'Add a Subreddit' U.I

  • Edit existing subreddits to decrease total posts per download, or the 'Sort Types' to download from

  • Removed /r/ when adding subreddits, subsequently removing it from the subreddit U.I

• Added the 'Sort Type' a post relates to on the subreddit display U.I

• Comments load as you need them, reducing the delay when opening a post

• Comment 'depth' now indents less, and uses randomised colours to help differentiate depth levels

• Comments collapse / expand with animations - Sorting posts uses a similar animation

• 'Swipe-to-collapse' (or expand) comments

• Implemented 'relative' post dates everywhere you'd expect.

• Highlighted comments by author within a post.

Please uninstall your existing version before migrating to this one.

I've added some new fields to the database, which causes incompatibility with existing data. Sorry about that!
