Reddit Later - Beta 1

On the 1st of April, I started an Android Project for the first time...

57 days on, and I've got a first cut that I'm ready to share with the community.

Reddit Later is for those who:

• are tired of burning through mobile credit

• consume more content than your average Redditor

Features

• • GIF playback using Glide

  • Mark subreddits as read

  • Hide read items (Toggle-able)

  • Delete read items

  • Maintain more than 100 entries per subreddit - Reddit limits API results to 100 entries, but after running the download a second time, new content doesn’t ‘force’ old content to be deleted.

  • Progress Indicator on download

  • View device storage use and total saved items per subreddit

Comments take too long to load / collapse

Images take too long to load

Images which appear in multiple subreddits (that you’ve downloaded) will appear multiple times e.g You’ve downloaded /r/all and /r/pics. #1 of ‘all’ is from ‘pics’ - you’ll see the picture twice in whichever subreddit you open it from
