In June of 2006 I was lucky enough to see my keyboard idol in concert at Rams Head Onstage in Annapolis MD & meet him after the show. Keith & I talked for a little while. I thanked him for being one of my inspirations who got me interested in electronic music as well as teaching myself electronics in the early 1970's which has helped me to build numerous electronic music related circuits as well as construct a full-size analog modular synthesizer that I'm still working on. He was gracious enough to take several photos with me, one of which shows him holding the Dual Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) that I designed & manufactured myself in October of 2005 as part of my modular sysnthesizer. He was also gracious enough to put his autograph on the rear panel of the VCO.
I really enjoyed being able to look at his Moog Modular Synthesizer, of which I took plenty of photos, as well as taking plenty of photos of Keith while he was performing. I never thought that I would be able to meet him as I had been waiting for that opportunity to happen since I first began listening to Emerson Lake & Palmer in the early 1970's .
