Chapter endowment

The Chapter's Earle MacCannell Endowment originated in 1996 with contributions from present and former Directors of the Chapter. The Endowment matured in 2000 with a generous donation by Julie Blume in memory of Earle MacCannell, a former director and officer of the Chapter. Income from the Endowment is used to support 1) student research projects (via supplements to Sigma Xi Grants-In-Aid), 2) awards for the best research posters at our annual Student Research Symposium, and 3) our public science lectures.

Gifts to the Endowment, or to the Chapter's operating expenses, can be made online or by check: please see Give to the Chapter.
