Volunteers Needed!

Would you like to get involved with Wild Didcot? Please get in touch! You can message sustainabledidcot@gmail.com or join the Facebook chat group http://www.facebook.com/groups/wilddidcot (you are also welcome to join if you simply want advice for your own garden or to connect with others who share similar interests).

We welcome new volunteers and a range of interests!

There are many ways you can get involved:

 - We are holding another Wildlife Cafe event on Sat 13th May 2023 and will need people to help on the day (no expertise required) but also keen gardeners from late Winter and early Spring to grow lots of plants which we will offer to attendees at the event.

 - We are planning more events and workshops and will need people to help organise and lead/support them.

 - We would like to hold wildlife gardening and other competitions.

 - We're also keen to work with youth groups and schools, and to connect with wider initiatives.

 - Are you a budding scientist? We would like to experiment with different types of peat-free compost to put together reliable advice.

 - Are you a social media whizz? Would you like to help with Facebook and Instagram to provide lots of useful advice to members and residents and to help publicise Wild Didcot?

 - We welcome new ideas: is there an area in town you'd like to plant up; is there specific advice you'd like to get or give; are there workshops you'd like to attend or host? Let us know!
