Why is the Sun so very round?

Then there is the curious discovery in 2012 that the Sun is as close to perfectly round as our instruments can measure. That is interesting. because the supposedly massive Sun rotates and according to the law of Angular Momentum, calculations that were made before the discovery  were made to discover the size of the bulge. If the Sun has x amount of mass, then by virtue of its rotation it must express an equatorial bulge….and that is why there was so much speculation as to the width of the bulge..
A supposed rotating mass that size most certainly must be seen to have a bulge at the equator.
Where is it?
For the Fusion Core theory to be viable, this observation must be accounted for. Why is there no bulge? The present solar Hydrogen-Core theories have no explanation for this.
