1.1 Preamble

It all began in December 2009 around the time when 365 Projects[1] are just launching, with a single tweet from Tom Barrett. It simply said

And that set me thinking. What if students were given a digital camera to record their academic year, but perhaps with a slightly tighter focus of learning? How would it look through their eyes ... or the camera lens?
