Dear parents and guardians,

We are writing to invite your child or children to VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) this year.  It will take place on Monday, August 4th through Friday, August 8th from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm with dinner for children and their families to follow from 5:00-5:30 pm. VBS is for students who are 3 years old (who have some preschool/daycare experience and are potty-trained) to those who have recently completed 6th grade.  Please fill out a paper registration form for each child who is attending or register them online through the following link https://vbsmate.com/events/SPLCcumberlandwiVBS2025/31203. Students who have completed 6th grade or above should attend as youth leaders/helpers and also need a registration form on file.  Follow the volunteer link to fill out any leader/helper registrations.  

St. Paul Lutheran Church offers a Christ centered VBS program with Bible learning, games, crafts, service, songs, delicious snacks and tons of fun!  Our theme this year is…

“God’s Love is

Out-Of-This-World!”

Together, we will learn about how God’s love is beyond our human understanding and this is shown over and over again throughout His Word. This year, we will celebrate with worship (VBS children will be singing their songs), dinner, a bounce house, games, and lots of outdoor fun on Wednesday, August 6th beginning at 5:00PM.  We invite your whole family to attend worship and the pizza party.  Friday, August 8th will be our traditional trip to Cumberland Care and Rehab (the nursing home) to share what was learned during the week.  We will end the day with lots of water fun (bring your swimsuit and towel). 

Volunteers are still needed to help make this week a success! Please contact our office if you would like to help or donate in some way. There will be a sign-up sheet in the church fellowship hall.  There will also be an informational meeting for all youth helpers and adult volunteers on Wednesday, July 30th at 5:00 pm. And most importantly, please pray for our Vacation Bible School as we learn about all the amazing ways God shows us His unconditional love!
