FINAL UPDATE ON LLAMAS:

With all of the recent illness and loss of critters rapidly at Starburst Acres, we decided to re-home Sweet Dreams & Red Baron in February, 2018. They were the only two left. Oddly enough our first two llamas, ended up being our last two as well.

These two moved together to Dustbunnies & Dog Hair Farm in Anniston, Alabama, where they happily lived out the rest of their lives. Sweet Dreams passed suddenly and unexpected on June 2, 2018. Sweety was 9 years old.

Red Baron continued on for a few more years enjoying his life there with the many other sanctuary critters. He passed peacefully in his sleep on November 6, 2022. Red Baron was 14 1/2 years old.

We haven't added any new critters to the herd in a long while. And as Mr. B passed in early January, 2017 & CocoBean passed in early April, we decided to keep then-foster, Kingston to round the herd back to four!

Welcome, Kingston! -- don't know too much about his history. Seems to be about 2-3 years old.

UPDATE: Kingston went down fast, and left this world in December, 2017. Possible Menegial worm. :-(
