I loved my first day with all of you. It's going to be a great year together!

Bring your book to class Wednesday. You will be doing a textbook scavenger hunt to familiarize yourself with how it is set up and the resources that are available to you in the book.

1. Students and at least one guardian, sign up for remind if you have not done so. I will attach the instructions to this post.

2. Students, sign up for quizlet(digital flashcards and practice activities) by clicking on the link that corresponds with your section. Use your first and last name. Download the app, if possible.

Tonight's Tarea (HW) 8/15

On quizlet, go to the flashcards labeled Spanish Alphabet, and practice the letter sounds. Check out this YouTube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MJbHmgaeDM Watch it enough times to where you can sing along with all the letter names with little to no errors.

The purpose: Learning letter names and sounds will help you pronounce words like a native speaker. Memorize the vowel sounds (A, E, I, O, U) to start, then add the consonants.

Tarea para 8/17

Go to the flashcard set labeled Spanish Greetings. Copy these new vocab words in your composition book under that heading. Then return to Quizlet to do the MATCH activity and the SPELL activity.
