Let's start today with a video I showed you guys this year about the importance of gratitude and saying thank you. I love that it shows how saying thank not only impacts the recipient but the person who expresses their gratitude.
***If the sub doesn't have access to a laptop, you can watch it on your phones or school laptops if they are open.
Now, me!
Take a moment to reflect on this past school year. Who is someone at DA who you should thank? You can choose someone who has impacted you directly or someone that is more behind the scenes at DA that you may take for granted. Your letter will be a blessing to the person who receives it. Share your love, light, and appreciation!
When you are done, fold it, and write the name of the individual on the outside. If you'd like you can use tape to "seal" them. The sub will collect them and I will place them in their mailbox at school.
The sub will then give you an end of the year survey or you can access the survey digitally and write your responses on a piece of paper: https://sites.google.com/site/sracarrda/home/friyay. I'd love to get your feedback!
When you guys are done, you can play the theatre(warm up) inspired games we learned. The clap game with numbers and/or the underhand toss(with a balled up piece of paper where you remember who you passed it to) and go around the circle say words in the category the leader selects (like...números, familia, colores, la casa, comida...)
