Because you do not need a profesional guide to enjoy a good walk in Spain. There are signed paths, there are good maps... and maybe even you have a compass or a little experience in orientation in the countryside.
We present you here some self-guided walks in some natural areas, most of them in Natura 2000 sites(Red Natura 2000).
As an example of the possibilities, maybe you did not know that Madrid city has an altitude around 600 m, whereas the highest point in the province, the peak Peñalara, is at 2.248 m. Tell you something? Well, just enjoy it!
