bACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY

“Back to Church Sunday,” part of a national movement of churches across America, will be held at South Bay Bible Church, 578 Montauk Highway, East Moriches on Sunday, September 17, at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. There will be lunch served after the 11:00 a.m. service. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Since it started as a call to action and invitation for the church in 2009, the National Back to Church Sunday movement marks its twelfth year and continues to gain momentum. More than 5 million Christ followers have participated through 30,000 churches! It is a day focused on uniting the church to equip and empower members to be inviters. Eight out of ten people say they are open to visiting church if invited—they are just waiting for an invitation.

For Back to Church Sunday, South Bay Bible Church will have a special service featuring a new teaching series – To Be Honest: Navigating Doubt, Regret, and Burnout. We’re real people facing real problems. How can we overcome the common obstacles that keep us from flourishing? In this three-part series, Pastor Matt will show us how everyday people can find hope when they decide to get honest with God, others, and themselves.

In addition to a relevant message applicable to everyday life, you’ll enjoy uplifting music, and your kids under five are welcome in our nursery. Older children can attend Kid’s Club, a fun, interactive Bible learning experience.
