About Me

Charlie Clutterbuck took his first degree in Agricultural Zoology at Newcastle univeristy, then going on to complete a Masters in 'Applied Plant Science' which specialised in Tropical Crops at Wye College London University. He then studied the Effects of Herbicides on Soil Fauna gaining his PhD from London University in 1974. Wye College was taken over by Imperial College, London University, but closed down shortly afterwards..

Charlie is now a Fellow of Food Policy City University, and a 'fractional' reseacher at Mancheter Metropolitan Unniversity. Until this recently he was a Trustee on the Boards of Food Ethics Council (FEC) and PAN-UK. He was the NW Represwentative on the National Secotor Committte for Rural and Agriculltural Workers of Unite the Union. He is on the Board and Incredible Edible Farm Todmorden and a Trustee of the LARDER , part of Sustainable Food Lancshire.

Charlie wrote the opening 'Analysis' in the FEC Magazine Spring 2012 Soil; A Fragile Foundation
