Cyrano de Bergerac

Cyrano is one of my favorite plays...it might just end up being yours, too!!

Anyway, here are a few activities we'll do in this unit:

1. Watch the Broadway production of the play -- starring Kevin Kline.

2. Write about love and how we decide what kind of person we might be attracted to or marry.

3. Complete a plot diagram and learn about conflict.

4. Reread parts of some Acts to notice how the characters advance the plot.

5. Write about reasons why Cyrano is still read in schools and produced on Broadway -- what does the play tell us about the human condition?
