Welcome, folks...Here is all the information you'll need to start your blog experience.
1. Watch this video about what a blog is: Blogs in Plain English
2. Go to McCabe's Chats and look around my eChalk blog. What kinds of things did I write about? What ideas do you get for your own writing?
3. Stay on my eChalk site and scroll down to Categories --> Slice of Life Challenge. Look over those posts. What kinds of things did I write about? What ideas do you get for your own writing?
3. We will use Blogger for our Slice of Life Story Challenge this year. It's better because you'll be able to connect to other students across the U.S. who are blogging during March, too. If you have a Gmail account, you are good to go. If you don't, though, you'll have to create one when you set up your Blogger account.
4. Watch this YouTube video about setting up your Blogger account.
5. Set up your blog at Blogger.com
6. Go to my Blogger, read it, and, in the Comment section, leave your name and blog address.
7. Each time you blog, you'll add the link to that day's entry in the Comments section of my blog. That way we can all see who is writing that day, comment, and build community.
