Giants Announcers
This is my review of the San Francisco Giants Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper Bobblehead.
Rare Content Correction! (10/15/09)
I was recently informed that this is not the worlds first announcer bobblehead as I was lead to believe in my research.
The Brewers gave away a Bob Uecker bobblehead on July 29th 2001, which pre-dates this one by a whole year!
Oh well. I'd rather be right than wrong.
It's still historically significant for two reasons.
1) first double bobblehead.
2) first talking bobblehead.
Kruk says "Grab some pine meat"
Kuip says "Bonds hit one high. He hits it deep. It's outta here!"
This is a modified Kruk and Kuip Giants bobblehead that plays the final out of the 2010 World Series.
I removed the original sound box under the table and installed a new one USB MP3 module hooked up to the same play button.
Should cost about $10 to do and about an hour.
