Nursing plays an important teaching role in patient education. Patient education is an important part of nurse's work. Education enables patients to improve their attitude towards disease and their health. When patients participate in their care, they are more likely to be actively involved in interventions, which may increase their chances of getting better outcomes (Bergh et al., 2015). During my working and clinical nursing placements, I participated a lot of patient education, including explaining to them the process of disease develop, risk factors, how to prevent it, and what to do to respond to some unexpected situations.
