Project:

Smart Solutions for Monitoring Traffic Participants using Advanced Artificial Vision and Rigorous Mathematical Modeling

Objectives:

Main objective: Development of advanced strategies for intelligent video monitoring of pedestrian and road traffic participants, based on computer vision mechanisms and rigorous mathematical models

• Objective 1: Pre-processing of sequences corresponding to video monitoring using restoration techniques based on second- and fourth-order vector PDE models

• Objective 2: Detection, recognition, tracking and analysis of vehicles in traffic using PDE models and machine and deep learning tools

• Objective 3: Development of hybrid solutions for intelligent monitoring of pedestrians in public space, combining computer vision mechanisms and non-linear PDE models

• Objective 4: Locating, classifying and tracking animals present in traffic and analyzing their behavior using mathematical and artificial vision models.
