ALE (Atlas Linguarum Europae) framework is implemented in C++ as Windows application and QGIS package. It is used to prepare the linguistic maps of the Atlas Linguarum Europae (Linguistic Atlas of Europe). The legends can be imported from old documents or edited from scratch using the ALE-Legend application. The ALE maps are automatically generated by ALE-Legend in QGIS format using the map template previously prepared in QGIS. ALE framework was developed in collaboration with „Iorgu Iordan - Al. Rosetti” Institute of Linguistics of the Romanian Academy.  (2018 -  )
