Forgotten Spaces 2018
Trees are like columns in a landscape without time. They do not move and calmly wait for events. The amber of its resin, is like a time machine, as if it were possible to enclose time in a ray of light, where it cannot escape and be preserved forever
Originally, photography was used to capture moments, occasions...the most important instants in people's lives. Each photographic plate was a treasure and handled with great devotion. Nowadays, photographs have become an everyday occurrence, constantly taking photographs without thinking why or of whom we are photographing. The photos are no longer precious; they are but a disposable product, often never to be looked at again. The series “Forgotten Spaces” are collages where the photos are returned to the scenario. Landscapes are created, not only to remember forgotten times but also to restore the singularity to the image.
