Shuli Gilutz, Ph.D., specializes in research, assessment, and design of interactive environments for children: apps, digital toys, and learning tech.

She works in industry and academia, teaching, advising, conducting research, and providing strategic consulting for the development and design of children's digital experiences.

Dr. Gilutz is a global speaker on children & digital media, age-appropriate UX; usability, play, and learning.


Dr. Gilutz is an instructor at Tel-Aviv University and at IDC's MA in HCI program, and is a board member of the Designing for Children's Rights Association. She is also part of Google Campus's UX Experts mentors team, guiding and advising start-ups via Google Launchpad programs.

She earned a BA in Psychology and the Multidisciplinary Program of the Arts, from Tel-Aviv University, an MA from Stanford University`s Learning, Design and Technology program, and a PhD in Educational Psychology & Cognitive Studies, from Columbia University`s Teachers College.
