The social committee of Shepherd's Grove plans several events each year. We have included a brief list of examples below. Our Calendar page show the most recent upcoming events. We also send reminder emails to homeowners via our Google Group.
A homeowner contact information directory is available from our Social Committee Chair Person. Current homeowners may our Property Manager found on the Contact Us section for a copy of the directory or with any other questions. This information is strictly confidential and not to be shared with anyone outside the SGHOA with prior permission.
Role and Responsibility
Welcome new residents and introduce website
Schedule and coordinate neighborhood social gatherings and groups
Maintain directory of homeowner information and Google Group email list
Update website calendar and distribute email announcements of neighborhood social events
Maintain the Shelter House reservation schedule
Order bereavement flowers
Games Dames
The women of the neighborhood gather together to play games and have a great afternoon of laughter and fun. Games meet on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 1:00 PM. The location rotates to a different hostess' home each month.
Lunch Bunch
Neighbors gather for lunch the 1st Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM. Events are scheduled at a different restaurant each month. Email reminders are sent and reservation required so we can give the restaurant an approximate count.
Summer Events
Our Social Committee hosts two summer events at our Shelter House. They are pitch-ins and always well-attended. One is an ice cream social! You don't want to miss the fun.
Holiday Party
We host an annual holiday party in early December. Watch our email list and Calendar for details.
