COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN STUDENT EVENT

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Local organizations and groups are invited to participate in Shelton State’s CONNECT. Formerly known as the College’s “Get on Board Day,” CONNECT is a two-day event designed to connect students with community resources and organizations. This year’s CONNECT will be held on September 12 and 13, 2017, on the Martin Campus.

Vendors and groups are asked to pay a $50 fee to participate in the event. The fee covers basic set-up and box lunches for two participants each day.

“CONNECT 2017 will be a great opportunity for area vendors to promote their businesses and showcase their available services,” said NorQuina Rieves, Student Engagement Coordinator. “This is also a great way for vendors to establish a working relationship with the College.”
