SHELTON STATE PHI THETA KAPPA ADVISOR SELECTED AS
2016 PARAGON ADVISOR
Tuscaloosa, Alabama – At the upcoming NerdNation 2016 in National Harbor, Maryland, fifteen Phi Theta Kappa advisors will be presented with the 2016 Paragon Award for New Advisors. Shywanda Moore, advisor for Shelton State’s Alpha Epsilon Iota chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, has been selected as a 2016 Paragon Advisor.
The Paragon Award for New Advisors recognizes the accomplishments of advisors who have served less than four years and have made significant contributions. These advisors are advocates for chapter membership, serve as their institution’s liaison, and encourage involvement on local, regional, and international levels.
Shelton State’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter is open to full-time or part-time students who have earned a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and have completed twelve credit hours as part of a degree program. For more information, email Kevin Windham at kwindham@sheltonstate.edu.
