FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

THEATRE TUSCALOOSA TO HOST JACK-O-LANTERN PHOTO CONTEST

October 23, 2013 (TUSCALOOSA, AL) - A wise man once said "Pumpkins come and pumpkins go, but a jack-o-lantern steals the show," — with Halloween just over a week away and Little Shop of Horrors opening this Friday, the staff at Theatre Tuscaloosa is putting that theory to the test.

Theatre Tuscaloosa will host a Facebook photo contest to find the best "theatre themed" jack-o-lantern to steal a little spotlight this Halloween. Does your pumpkin favor Patti LuPone? Do you have what it takes to create a gory scene from Sweeney Todd or fashion a witch from Wicked? If so, the Theatre Tuscaloosa staff wants to see your creative masterpiece shine.

The pumpkin carving contest winner will receive four (4) tickets to Little Shop of Horrors and get the chance to be "swallowed" by Audrey II after the performance. The

winning pumpkin will be displayed in the Theatre Tuscaloosa lobby on Halloween.

The contest ends at noon on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, so put on your thinking cap, grab a pumpkin and your favorite carving utensils, get your cameras out, and shoot a photo that will bring down the house. It's all about getting the most "Likes" for your photo, so spread the word once your picture is uploaded.

Don't let this opportunity spook you, visit www.theatretusc.com for more info and submit your entry today.
