SHELTON STATE CELEBRATES GED GRADUATES

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Graduates of the Shelton State Community College Adult Education Program received their General Educational Development (GED) diplomas Tuesday evening in a commencement ceremony held at the Umphrey Center on the Martin Campus, 9500 Old Greensboro Road.

 

Speakers included GED graduate Dominique Ibik and commencement speaker Tyonica Prince, herself a GED graduate and current PLUS volunteer and business professional. Shelton State President Dr. Mark A. Heinrich and Adult Education Program Director Dr. Fran Turner conferred certificates to 38 graduates.
