SHELTON STATE WANTS TO KNOW “ARE YOU READY?”
TUSCALOOSA – Shelton State Community College will host a series of disaster preparedness seminars and informational displays on Wednesday, March 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at its Martin Campus in order to help the West Alabama community prepare for a variety of emergent situations.
Presentations ranging from weather emergencies to pandemic influenza will be open to the public at not cost, along with displays with information from the Alabama Poison Center, Red Cross, First Responders, Tuscaloosa County Health Department, Alabama Department of Public Health, and the Alabama Fire College. Nurses may also gain continuing education credit for attending.
Lecture Presentations will be held in the Ryan DeGraffenreid Lecture Hall (Rm. 2255), and will follow the schedule below:
