SSCC Phi Theta Kappa Inducts New Members

TUSCALOOSA – The Shelton State Community College Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa inducted new members at its fall ceremony on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the college’s Martin Campus at 9500 Old Greensboro Road in Tuscaloosa.
The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 1.5 million members and 1,200 chapters located in 50 United States, U.S. territories, Canada, and Germany.
