FOUR TO ATTEND ANNUAL NCSPOD CONFERENCE

TUSCALOOSA – Four staff members from Shelton State Community College will be honored at the 2007 Annual Conference for the National Council on Staff, Professional, and Organizational Development (NCSPOD) in Austin, Texas in May.

Honored will be Darrel Hagler, representing the academic division. Hagler has taught mathematics at Shelton State since 2002.

William Quimby was selected to represent the technical division of the college. Quimby has taught electrical technology at Shelton State for more than 26 years.

Tammy Gray, who handles payroll in the Shelton State Business Office and has served in that capacity for over ten years, was selected from the support staff.

Joanne Cousette, who has served in the Financial Aid office for 24 years, will represent the school’s professional staff.

The National Council for Staff, Program, and Organizational Development was formed in 1977 with assistance from the Fund for the Improvement of Post-secondary Education. The organization joins faculty, staff and program development practitioners in community colleges to develop their knowledge and skills and for sharing information and experiences in the field.
