Auditions Scheduled for World Premiere Musical “A Dickens of a Carol”

 Tuscaloosa – Theatre Tuscaloosa will hold open auditions for its world premiere musical "A DICKENS OF A CAROL" on October 23 and 24 at 7:00 P.M. in the Bean-Brown Theatre on the campus of Shelton State Community College at 9500 Old Greensboro Road in Tuscaloosa.

Featured Adult roles are available for a male (age 50), a female (age 40) and a female in her late 20’s.  All adult roles are for actor/singers.  Featured roles for children include a boy 8 to 9 years old and a girl 11 to 12 years old who is an actor/singer. There are also roles available for a male and female ensemble ages 20 and above who can sing, dance and move.

Auditionees should bring a prepared song and the sheet music in the proper key.  A monologue is not required as you will be asked to read from the script.
