Fashion Fair “Total Makeover Madness” Comes to Shelton State 

Tuscaloosa – Fashion Fair Cosmetics will bring its “Total Makeover Madness” to the Martin Campus of Shelton State Community College on Wednesday, October 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the atrium of the school at 9500 Old Greensboro Road in Tuscaloosa.

Fashion Fair Cosmetics, the world’s number one line of makeup and skincare for women of color, is sponsoring the one day event at six “Historically Black Colleges and Universities.” Shelton State Community College is the only two-year school selected for the event. Other schools participating include Fisk University, Clark Atlanta University, Miles College, Spelman College and Jackson State University.

Participating in the event along with the professionals from Fashion Fair, will be students and faculty from Shelton State’s Cosmetology Department as well as representatives from the Wellness Center.

The event will offer full-face makeovers, mini-manicures, makeup consultations and steam facial massages. At 10:00 a.m., Princess Norwood from the Wellness Center will give a kickboxing demonstration.

At 2:00 p.m. Dillard’s will present a fall fashion show featuring students, faculty and staff as well as special guests including Louie Linguine from WZBQ radio and Jade Nicole from WTUG radio.

Additionally, information will be available on holiday employment and a Fashion Fair cosmetics market will be open.
