Weather Safety Program Held at Shelton State

TUSCALOOSA – ABC 33/40 meteorologist James Spann was the keynote speaker for Storm Alert 2001 held at Shelton State Community College Tuesday night.

The weather safety program included video footage of the deadly F-4 tornado that ravaged Tuscaloosa on Dec. 16 [2000].

More than 1,000 people attended the free program.  The next program is at 7 tonight at Brent Baptist Church in Bibb County.
