Walk to School at 6 am

Sunrise, fall colors, and feeling all out of sorts from being awake at an hour far too early: the sensation of walking uphill to the university first thing in the morning. It is a weary journey with everything feeling a little punchy from the lack of sleep. This painting was an expression of that sensation and memories of spring and fall colors blurring together.
