Border Line
The juxtaposition between the man-made home and the nature-controlled yard fascinates me. While there is some attempt at harmony with the visual surroundings in the house/yard visual relationship, there is often little attention given to the transition of the sharp line between home and yard. Border Line is my solution. Representing the natural lines within the yard and repeating them within the fence enables a distinctly man-made, nature-inspired transition.

.Perspectives- an installation series
Perspectives is a four piece installation series that began with an internet installation on YouTube (see video). The following renditions of Perspectives involved an interior installation in the Art Underground of Fairbanks Hall, Oregon State University, later an exterior installation at the Fairbanks Hall Annex, and ending with an participation installation at The Drawing Board, Corvallis, OR.
Each rendition of the project featured some section of a video documenting my walk to and fro the university from either my apartment or the home of my parents. Specifically electing to emphasis the objects my autistic wandering eyes saw, the viewer gets to live my perspective of this event.

Discovery
Adventures climbing over neolithic architecture, finding a knife-shaped bone, and running across the hills of France- a journey of discovery from my childhood. This piece is about looking at out at the past and our present and how one day, our present will become past and someone else's discovery.

The Results of Good Engineering
I started college as a Mechanical Engineering major which provided me with an excellent technical background. However I did not elect to finish this degree, so I decided to make use of my old notes to create an installation for my fellow engineering peers. This piece is literally constructed from the hard work engineers use to create their pieces. It was installed beside the rear exterior of Rogers Hall, the Mechanical Engineering building.
