Hiring rubrics (also known as graded rubrics) are tools to evaluate job candidates. You should keep them in mind as you look at resumes, and you should actively use them when you interview candidates. Each rubric should do two things:
1) clarify the different attributes that we want to see in a person filling the role
2) designate the minimum requires levels for each of these attributes

For the initial phone screen we evaluate candidates based on these criteria:
English language ability
Educational background
Verbal fluency
Commitment timeline
Availability per week
Full-time teaching experience
For the in-person mock teaching we evaluate candidates based on these criteria:
Preparedness
Pacing
Classroom management
Making students comfortable
Professional appearance & demeanor
Dynamism
