Community Service Projects for 2022-2023
During the year our guild provided quilts to 32 familites/individuals who have suffered tragedies in their lives. These events have included fires, drownings, SIDS, snow mobile and automobile deaths. We have also had the priviledge of providing five quilts to the Mafield Presbyterian Church women who are coordinating a monthly quilt assembly for the Palliative Care Unit at Nathan Littauer Hospital. Finished quilts go to Bonnie Orth, the hospital Chaplain, for patients who are receiving life end comfort care.
Community Service Projects for 2019-2020
We will be working on the usual projects quilts, cancer caps, children's surgical caps, pillowcases, walker bags, heart pillows and reading pillows. And please remember if you know of a need somewhere for any of our articles, contact Maria Gardiner.
