Recognition of past officers and board members

At our June 2023 meeting, retiring officers were presented with quilts.

At our December 2014 meeting, Nancy Basile was given a quilt in appreciation of her work for our Guild.  Pictured here are some of the members who worked on the quilt, Nancy receiving the gift and the label on the back of the quilt.

Sunflower Charm Awards - Beginning in 2009, the Board and Officers of the Sew Busy Quilt Guild wanted to give special recognition and thanks to those members who went above and beyond in helping the guild. The Sew Busy Sunflower Charm award is given out annually to members who have provided this extra service. Sunflower awards were presented at the June 2017 meeting to Anne Edens, Barb Nigro and Barbara Skoda.

• Carolyn Peck received a Sunflower Charm Award in June, 2016.

• Sunflower awards were presented at the June 2015 meeting to Markie King, Nancy Basile and Irene Knichel.  

• At our May 2014 meeting, Maria Gardiner, Diane Henderson, Sandy Hugo, Jean Quick and Cathy Jo Rogers each received a Sunflower Charm Award.

• Recipients of the Sunflower Charm Award include (2009-2013):  Olga Amico, Sandi Christman, Caryn Contino, Carol Cownie, Marg Fagan, Jill Fonda, Nancy Frank, Jennie Kerwood, Rosemarie Knichel, Joan Lusenhop, Donna Palczak, Peggi  Pisani, Lisa Stegeland, Debbie Stock, Carolyn Washburn and Trina Zimmerman.

• A special celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Guild's formation was held in 2010 and Sunflower Charm awards were given to the following founding members:  Helen Kovar, Diana Marshall, DiAnne Sanford, Ceci VanDenburgh, and Trina Zimmerman
