  • 2006: Doctor Assistant Teacher in the Department of Statistics at University Carlos III, Leganés (Spain).
  • 2012: Lecturer in Business Statistics at Kent Business School in the University of Kent, Chatham (United Kingdom).
  • 2013: Lecturer in Operational Research at the School of Mathematics in the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh (United Kingdom).


In 2009, I received the Ramiro Melendreras Award by the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations Research to the best paper by a young researcher.

I have been member of the coordination board of the European Working Group on Location Analysis (EWGLA) since May 2015 until August 2018.

In 2018 I organized the EWGLA conference in Edinburgh.
