Welcome to my webpage. Here you will find all information about my teaching and my research.
I have a broad range of topics of interest that include (but are not limited to) are discrete facility location, vehicle routing problems, clustering problems, airports slot allocation, and matching problems. In general, I am interested in combinatorial optimization problems that involve linear (or nonlinear) mathematical programming models and which require the design of efficient exact or heuristic algorithms. Techniques I am familiar with are pre-processing, development of tighter formulations through valid inequalities, branch-and-cut algorithms and column-and-row generation for reduced formulations. All parts in the process of solving a problem are important to me: modelling, improving the initial model, and designing and implementing an efficient solution method.
