My websites are powered by Google Sites. Due to size limitations, especially in an earlier version, my collection and spares are spread across numerous sites. Each new site you access will generate a cookie warning. This is generated by Google and I have no control over it, nor do I make any personal use of cookies. Each new site will also open as a new window. Unfortunately, this is Google's default setting and I am not able to change it. It doesn't open a new window for links within the same site, e.g. to Next Page.
I may not have space or time to show all my spares so if you have any specific requests, please let me know and I will do what I can to help. I will exchange any number of beermats, and may be willing to buy some beermats or collections.
My UK and Irish collection are filed in catalogue number order, based on catalogues available from the British Beermat Collectors Society. The larger breweries will usually be sub-divided into batches of fifty, 001-050, 051-100 etc.
For other countries, when I have 50 or more beermats for any brewery, I will sub-divide them into 3 categories to try and make identification easier:
a. Beermats that are neither dated, nor part of a series. These will be sub-divided by shape, i.e. Circular, Rectangular, Shaped and Square.
b. Beermats that include a date (not just a year) in the text (and excluding any copyright date). Partial dates without a year will be filed at the end.
c. Beermats that form a series of 3 or more (or as many as I have of that series). These will be filed simply in the order they came into my possession.
For all countries, there will be many breweries where I have a limited number of beermats, so I group these together as "Various".
I have generally listed beermats by the brand shown on the mat so that I don't have to keep changing if the brand is taken over by another company or re-named. The main exception is when the brand is available in the UK and some mats are catalogued by the British Beermat Collectors Society, when I abide by that catalogue (so, for example, the Foster's brand is catalogued under the Carlton name).
All my COLLECTION pages begin with the header SeeMyMats in green. All my SPARES pages begin with the header beermatwiki in red. (The exception is for non-brewery beermats. For these I only use the Collection pages, and indicate there if I have any spares.)
To save space, all images are deliberately set to a very low resolution.
If you spot any errors, or have any queries, please let me know.
