This page is a "blog" of my progress in developing this site. If you are watching my progress, or want to see what has been added since you last visited, most of the details should be listed here (but I'm only aiming for the 'headlines', not every single change). If you have not read this blog before, the first entry at the bottom gives details about my starting point for this year and my hopes and intentions for the future.

Looking back at 2014 (see the subpage), once again I think I've made a lot of progress, but still have so much to do! My major focus for the year was Germany, and I managed to 'process' around 30,000 German mats. Sounds great, but I still have almost as many again for the 'next round', though I will catch up on the other countries first. And towards the end of 2014, I also almost finished updating USA.
I still have a lot of recent acquisitions to add, especially to Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
I was granted privileged access to a draft of the Whisky catalogue, so also managed to add my collection, with the exception of some recent issues which need to wait for the official release of the catalogue.
My "Other Mats" section has still not been started, and remains my lowest priority. My Tobacco (cigarettes etc.) collection is scanned and ready to upload (except for any 2014 acquisitions), but is still low priority.
My Wanted section has still not been started, but I am determined to make a start on the UK section soon. I am also intending to add a 'Name Finder' section to help find those beermats that don't mention the actual brewery name. I plan to make methodical, steady, but very slow, progress and will probably still be working on both by the end of the year. As I work through the alphabet, I intend to add other miscellaneous updates. The same beermat may be listed in more than one catalogue, for example if it has a brewery on one side and a spirit (rum, vodka etc.) on the other side. So far, I will only have put this on my site in the Brewery section, but will now start updating the other section where necessary. I do not intend to include these miscellaneous updates in my daily blog.
Spares are now being updated almost daily. Most of my World brewery spares are now listed, including Germany. I have added many more UK spares in 2014, but still have many thousands to add. If you want any specific beermats, please let me know what you are interested in and I will do my best to help you. Note some of the Spares sections still contain little more than a handful of beermats just to establish the framework for me to link the pages. I hope to add some more content to these during 2015.
Of course, there are constantly new additions that mean I need to update breweries or sections previously considered 'complete'. I will tend to do these in batches, which means some may be held at the back of the queue, so if you have sent me a beermat recently, there may be a delay before I can add it to my site.
