Start of this year's Blog - January 2026
See the subpage for what I did in 2025. In some ways, a frustrating year as once again there were many days lost to illness and computer problems, which left me unable to scan as many new additions as I would have liked to do. But, I took the opportunity towards the end of the year to start catching up on a large backlog of spares. I added a lot of spares, but still have many more to include, if only I had the time!
Apart from the end of the year, I managed to update all the countries I had, even adding more to Germany (though there remain many German mats to do). I also added a large number of non-brewery mats. It is still frustratingly difficult to get many unlisted mats added to the catalogue, so I decided to add as many as I could to my site without a catalogue number (I still have more to do). I expect to start 2026 by catching up on my recent brewery acquisitions, but that should only take a month or so. After that, I intend to do more updates to Germany, and clear my backlog of foreign brewery spares, whilst continuing to add as many UK brewery spares as I can. I still have so much to do!

Of course, there are constantly new additions to all countries, breweries and/or sections. I do these in batches, which means some may be held at the back of the queue, so if you have sent me a beermat recently, there may be a delay before I can add it to my site.
