SDUSD JROTC Fancy Drill Competition
Post date: January 29th, 7:40:21 PM
The SDUSD JROTC Fancy Drill Competition was the second JROTC Brigade competition of the year. On January 26th, students from across the San Diego Unified School District came together to compete at Madison High School, showcasing their Exhibition Drill Teams. We were glad to see so many visitors come watch over the weekend. From every personnel inspection and exhibition drill team performance by both Armed and Unarmed teams, we loved seeing all the unique routines with sharp and synchronized movements.
After closely evaluating each performance by external judges, awards were to be distributed among the top 3 teams in each category. Though the winners of the competition were not announced on site, Brigade cadres will make their visit to each school to award the following teams exhibition drill teams who placed.

Wreaths Across AmericaPost date: December 18th, 2018 9:12:46 PM
December 15th marked the annual day to cover all Veterans grave markers with a Christmas wreath. More than 1,400 locations in all 50 U.S. states at sea and abroad spent their weekend honoring and paying respect for those fallen in battle during this wreath-laying ceremony. With 'Wreaths Across America' being one of the world's largest Veterans ceremonies, SDUSD JROTC cadets had a wonderful opportunity to witness this occasion at Greenwood Memorial Park and Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
