Past J-1

The J-1 is the Joint Brigade Personnel Officer. They are responsible for various administrative duties during Brigade events including but not limited to tabulating scores and awarding the appropriate trophies and medals to deserving cadets.  The occupant of this billet usually holds the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel (c/LTC, c/LtCol) or Cadet Commander (c/CDR), though a cadet in a higher rank may be appointed. Before 2023 this position held the rank of Cadet Major(c/Maj, c/MAJ) or Cadet Lieutenant Commander(c/LCDR)
