Past J-3

The J-3 is the Joint Brigade Operations Officer. They are responsible for operational standards during Brigade events, and devise Joint Brigade Operation Orders prior to the execution of any Brigade event.  The occupant of this billet usually holds the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel (c/LTC, c/LtCol) or Cadet Commander (c/CDR), though a cadet in a higher rank may be appointed. Before 2023 this position held the rank of Cadet Major(c/Maj, c/MAJ) or Cadet Lieutenant Commander(c/LCDR)
