    • How do I register?

    • Why should my Scout go?

Day camp usually covers 40-50 % of the rank requirements for the year which is an awesome jump-start for your Scout.

    • What about my Scout that is a kindergartener?

If you have a Scout currently in kindergarten, you are welcome to send them to camp as a Tiger cub! However, Tigers MUST bring an adult partner with them to camp.

    • My Scout is currently a Tiger. Do I have to attend with him?

Not if your Scout is currently in first grade. They will be a Wolf by summer, so the rule requiring an adult will no longer apply.

    • What if I can’t drive my Scout to Day Camp every day?

Talk with your den leader! We usually have plenty of parents that go and can transport your Scout. Your den leader will be coordinating carpooling for your den.

    • What if I want to go?

Please come! You can come to camp as a “walker” for $15, and walk with your Scout’s group all day. If you can't come out every day, you can just come out the day(s) that work for you.

Even better, you can sign up as Adult Staff and get in for free! You can be your Scout's den leader at camp or you can run a station. It is up to you!

    • What should my Scout wear? Do they need a uniform?

You get one free t-shirt as part of your Scout's registration. Your Scout will need to wear that shirt every day. (You have the option of buying extra shirts.)

    • What should I pack?

At a minimum, you Scout should pack a sack lunch, backpack with a water bottle (they can refill the water bottle as needed throughout camp), raincoat/poncho on days that it might rain, sunscreen (the camp requests no spray sunscreen), and a change of clothes. I also strongly recommend snacks (trail mix, granola bar, etc.) to help ward off crankiness.

You may not know the schedule for their creeking or swim day until after the first day and it is possible they may creek or swim on the first day. So on the first day, send a swimsuit and towel as well as water shoes and a plastic bag for the wet shoes/clothes.
