"Keep Kids Alive - Drive 25"
Scotts Mills Neighborhood Watch was mentioned at the campaign website for stepping into this national project and the Silverton Appeal-Tribune and Salem Statesman-Journal both wrote articles on the 'project' toward local community awareness! This was strongly supported by Marion County Sheriff's Office - and, it is hoped it will make a difference in the safety of the children of our community.
Anyone interested in purchasing yardsigns, bumper stickers, etc. can do so by visiting the national website!
Note: The signs cannot be posted within specific distances from a COUNTY roadway. Please direct any questions to your local City and/or County Roads Department. Other signs that do NOT appear to be speed control signs "may" be eligible for posting on yards along county roads.
