The Neighborhood Watch is affiliated with Marion County Sheriff's Office and Silverton Volunteer Fire Department/Scotts Mills Volunteer Firefighters Association, Inc.
For communicating needs and issues regarding Scotts Mills Neighborhood Watch, please use the Directory.
We do not have specific "Office Space;" primary communications are handled thru the Coordinator.
When held, Meetings are held in donated space at the Scotts Mills Community Center on the corner of 4th and Grandview, across from the Grange Building.
The community served is about 8 Miles Northeast of Silverton; approximately 6 Miles East of Mt. Angel and has a general in-town population of about 420 (2022 records) people (approximately 100 homes). SMNWCP is NOT limited to the city limits of Scotts Mills but includes an extended area within the Marion County and the immediate neighboring area of Clackamas County.
We are served by the Marion County Sheriff's Office on the Marion County side of Butte Creek, by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office on the Clackamas County side of Butte Creek, and by the Oregon State Police.
We have "partners" in the upper Crooked Finger Road and in the Briar Knob Loop area. We don't consider our watch a "neighborhood" watch as much as a community or "Neighbor Watch" which extends for several miles outside of the city limits.
