I have been DESIGNING Machines (SPMs) since 1985, using PLC, CNC, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Cams for controls.
I also have experience of designing continuous motion machines with Cams, Four bar and Five bar linkage mechanisms.
Apart from designing machines I have also designed the Jigs and Fixtures for the machines designed.
My strengths include:

Professional Training:
- FMEA.
- programme on Hydraulics conducted by VICKERS.
- Successfully passed Assessor / Lead Assessor course conducted by CII in co-ordination with Cranfield University, UK in the year 1995.
- Standards and Standardisation conducted by HMT - Bangalore.
Computer Proficiency:
- Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Expertise in CAD with a good knowledge of Solid Modelling software like Pro/Engineer (WF2 consisting of Foundation, Advanced Assembly, Sheetmetal, Mechanisms, Animation and Behavioural Modelling)

- established a RESPONSIVE Design and Development team
- moulded the team to achieve Quality by Design
- Established procedure for Design Review using IEC 1160 as a guide.
- Moulded the team from a task-based team to a learning team.
- As Management Representative took the division through ISO 9001 certification and Re-certification
Technical:
- synthesis and automation of a 5-bar mechanism tracing a polynomial curve.
- Twin Spindle Honing machine for Eicher Tractors with rotary indexing table. The two spindles could operate independently or together. Facility for short stroking of the spindles and plateau honing was also provided.
- Planetary gear boxes with dual input and Varied output ratios
- Under-slung crane under seismic loading for BARC’s Khakrapar Power Project handling nuclear fuel, with all calculations approved by NPC.
